Description
Each gram of this formulation contains Clotrimazole IP 1% w/w in a soothing base with Menthol Q.S.
Clotrimazole is a broad-spectrum antifungal agent effective against Candida, Dermatophytes, and other fungi responsible for skin infections. It helps treat athlete’s foot, ringworm, jock itch, and fungal infections of the skin.
The addition of Menthol provides a cooling and soothing effect, relieving itching, burning, and irritation commonly associated with fungal infections.
Common Side Effect
Generally well-tolerated. Mild and temporary side effects may include:
- Slight burning or stinging sensation
- Redness or itching at the site of application
- Skin dryness or irritation (rare)
